Bought the watch, did the bank transfer, and after a few hours, received a message saying that the transaction was cancelled. I was on time to cancel my transfer with the bank, because it was done on a weekend day, but it should not happen this. The seller justified it self blaming Chrono24, saying that the item was allready sold, but Chrono didn't take it's availability out... Things don't work this way... well, can not recommend it, sorry.

Except for a major mishap with shipping (watch got stuck in customs for over 3 weeks because dealer forgot import forms) the rest was fine.

The photos don`t show the real conditions of the product and hidden a dent in the case. After sending some messages asking for the conditions the seller assured me the watch was in great conditions, the I went ahead with the purchase and payment. When I received the watch it had an impact on the case and a rather poor repair attempt. It is true that they offered me the option of sending the watch back to Holland at my own expense, but the situation and disappointment of receiving such a special watch with a defect could have been avoided.

I received a Rolex 16013 from 1984 as bought from Chrono24 from Steiner Maastricht. Photographs in posting showed a watch in, for the age, very good condition. There were no photographs of the watch with the caseback off. It had been serviced by Steiner Maastricht just before sale. I receive the watch, I'm happy about the external condition of the watch.and take it to a watchmaker to make sure it is alright inside too. He notices corrosion in the case, in the case to caseback o-ring mating surface. The damage was not disclosed to me by Steiner Maastricht, even though they should know about the damage, as it is immediately visible on removing the caseback, which is a must to service a watch. I notify Steiner Maastricht about the found damage and they refuse to acknowledge the damage, saying that the damage is irrelevant and that the watch withstand 10% of its original pressure rating. Communication throughout was poor, then Steiner stopped responding me and didn't call back when promised. In the end, I got almost all my money back for the watch, shipping costs etc. But that is after starting an EU dispute resolution. I might add that Chrono24 provided woeful support in the matter and that neither seller nor Chrono24 wanted to honor basic EU consumer rights without much resistance. All in all, a very disappointing and energy consuming experience. Avoid.

Die vorhandenen Gebrauchsspuren wurden nicht im Detail beschrieben. Bereits durchgeführte Auffrischungen an der Schließe wurden nicht benannt. Insgesamt ist der Zustand allenfalls „gut“ aber nicht „sehr gut“.
