I purchased an Alain Silberstein Bauhaus Krono from this seller. The watch was described to be in very good, used condition. The watch was quickly shipped and well packaged. After paying the import VAT, the watch was delivered very quickly but I noticed as soon as I opened the box that something was wrong. The winding rotor, visible through the case back barely moved. I manually wound the watch which started it running but the rotor turned very slowly or not at all. Putting the watch on a timegrapher showed very low amplitude so all signs pointing to the watch being well overdue a service. I reached out to my local watchmaker and was provided a quote of £480 to service a Lemania 5100 chronograph movement. Having reached out to the seller, they offered a return for a refund or a measly £80 partial refund. Ultimately I accepted the refund as I had already paid £600 VAT importing the watch to the UK and wasn't confident about getting this back from the government as FedEx has removed all the required supporting documentation from the parcel before delivery. Faults like this should have been spotted before the watch was listed for sale. Physically the watch was as described but I would caution anyone from buying from this seller as they clearly aren't interested in offering fair compensation to resolve problems of their own making.

The dealer never responded to my questions about the watch. When I took it to a watch repairman he said it had been polished. So the good rating was essentially misleading. The tick Mark's on the chronometer are barely visible do to the polishing. The dial cannot be seen in the dark because the lum was so warm off.

The watch was smaller than I thought. It looks normal in the images but when I wear it, it looks like it’s for Ladies. I asked the seller and was told that it was for men. Not the fault of the seller but I might return it.

I was disappointed that the order for the watch I had ordered was cancelled but it was for an item needing to be procured. They at least took care of the cancellation properly.

Tolle Uhr, einzelne vorhandene Gebrauchsspuren blieben allerdings in der Beschreibung unberücksichtigt. Auch blieb die Kommunikation etwas auf der Strecke. Allein eine hinreichende Beschreibung für die Zollabfertigung hätte die lange Wartezeit verkürzen können. Nicht zuletzt wäre auch seitens des Zustellers FedEx mehr an Kommunikation zu erwarten gewesen, es geht auch anders.

It's already my third purchase from this dealer, so I know what to look out for. My tip, take a closer look, even if the pictures are sometimes heavily overexposed. If you are unsure, you should ask again, which unfortunately can be a bit difficult, because the seller is economical with the answers. Be sure to have the watch inspected by a specialist upon receipt, as the movement was defective on my second purchase and I had to pay a lot of money for the repair. Japanese watch dealers are like German used car dealers, there are of course exceptions as always.

I bought several times from the dealer and unfortunately also had bad experiences. I bought from the dealer because the offer was interesting, but you have to be very careful with him. The shipping and packaging are great, I have no complaints. But with his descriptions you have to look closely at the pictures, which unfortunately are always heavily overexposed. So unfortunately I could not recognize the existing engraving on my first purchase, which was also not mentioned. The description only said that there would be insignificantly small scratches on the back. On my second purchase, my watchmaker found a defective movement. Unfortunately, there was also no picture of the movement that I might have been able to recognize a defect in advance. My conclusion with this dealer is, you can buy from him, but you should first take a close look at everything, maybe ask again and have the watch checked by his watchmaker after receiving the goods.

I bought a lot of watches from eLady. But this time there was a big dent on the inside of the acrylic crystal. They would not send me new crystal or a discount - due to tax-issues I decided to keep the watch and fix it myself.

I would recommend but with caution. It took me about 4 months to find the watch I wanted in good condition, eLady does put alot of effort into ensuring items are genuine and they do have better physical condition stock than most other dealers. In my case the watch required a major service, Omega are not cheap to service, I had to spend another 60% of the purchase price on servicing. Having said that I fell as though I now have a serviced, nice condition late 90's Omega, it cost more than I expected but thats the price to buy in to Omega. I should highlight there is an option to return goods but your heart may be more influential than economic sense.
