This summer promises to be a big one for sports events. Without a doubt, one that millions of people will be most looking forward to is the UEFA European Football (i.e., soccer) Championship. The tournament was supposed to happen in 2020 but was postponed due to the coronavirus. Instead, it will take place this year featuring some of the world’s elite players. And it comes as no surprise that some of the biggest names in the game are actually big watch fans. So, what timepieces do these stars typically don on their wrists?
Before the tournament kicks off, let’s check out the players taking the field at the UEFA Euro 2020 and see what their watches of choice are (although some of these guys will, unfortunately, miss the tournament due to injury, that’s not going to stop them from sporting some excellent timepieces this summer). Patek Lovers and Soccer Stars: Zlatan Ibrahimović and Virgil van Dijk
Due to a knee injury, Zlatan Ibrahimović will not be playing in the European Championship this summer.
