Worst experience ever. Dont buy from him. Ordered full Rose Gold Audemars Piguet 26170 for 53K €. The Images were wonderful, the dealer even, and I quote: all perfect. I was confident because he had listed other high end so I paid promptly. After that is were the trouble began. He ailed so send and declare properly, therefore the package was hugely delayed, and I couldnt communicate with him because his English skills were very bad. In the end we had to arrange a Fedex special delivery at night, which came at 2AM because the package was 5 days late and I had to go into vacation the same day. So there was the problem of a wrongly declare package that caused the problems and he himself was unable to resolve the issue and didnt even try to do so. Then the issues continued...the packaging was to extremely poor that its beyond belief. He packages the wooden AP box just with one layer of the very fine bubble wrap. And on the box edges basically all wraps instantly burst, that means the wooden box is directly in contact with the surrounding. Every sane person knows thaf you cover a box into bubble wrap and and put it into a much larger box to protect it. This was not done here. I opened the package on camera and the box was shattered. It had one smaller damage and one completely shattered corner. He did not communicate at all from this point on. Everything was mediated through Chrono. So until here he have the wrong shipping that caused me 8-9 h being on the phone with chrono and fedex and the shattered box. But thats not all: The clasp of the watch was bent. No mention of that in the images or in his description. It was so bend, that while I operated it, one pin of the twin deployant broke. I asked at AP service what a new clasp costs and they said 7400€. Then I tried to laserweld it an an independent jeweler. He welded the pin perfectly and it is now better than before. Several other jewelers declined to work on an AP goldclasp. The bridge holding the pin is still bent. This cant be repaired. But the pin inself was reattached and it not bend anymore so its now in better condition that I got it in. I was quite happy with that, and was offered 2000€ refund. I wasnt ok with 2000€, I wanted 2370€ because the watch did have a good price but I wanted compensation for the fedex night shipping, which would have been 370€ (but I got it for free luckily, but the time was lost, I wanted that as compensation for my time). But on the last day I noticed another problem: The watch works only when being wound. When you spin the rotor, it doesnt work. It stops after a few minutes when you try to get it running simply by arm movements. So the Rotor isnt connected anymore to the caliber. I tested it 3x to confirm. In Germany, AP service on Chronograph cost 1581€. Box cost 624€, clasp 7400€, total damage 9605€. I returned the watch, got full refund. He instantly relisted for 65k€, still not mentioning any of the problems. Buyers BEWARE! I would give 0 stars if I could.

First of all, we want to apologize to our customers for any kind of discomfort that we may cause. It is the first time in our more than ten years of commercial activity, where not only through chrono24 but through multiple channels, that we have received an assessment of this type. But let us at least respond to these comments. - The delay in delivery has been due to an erroneous classification by the German customs authorities qualifying the shipment as non-EU instead of EU, All shipping costs have been reimbursed to the customer. From that moment on and due to the disrespectful and rude comments made to us the moment we requested support from the chrono24 team. - The packaging is made in our facilities in a meticulous way and sealed by the company itself. - The watch has arrived in perfect condition and it has been the opening of the watch strap by the customer that has caused, he should not have known how a double deplayant opens, the breakage of a piece of the watch and that in no case was previously damaged. This information is provided to us by the chrono24 team. We are entering a process of dialogue in which we do not agree with the reduction that he is proposing. - The watch has arrived at our facilities and is being checked by our technical service that it worked perfectly without the need for winding, with its caliber and rotor in perfect condition. We do not agree at all with these comments. - The watch is still for sale with all its documentation and with a stipulated price since we have nothing to hide from the conditions of the watch. - We are not going to go into the statements of "DO NOT BUY" and "BE CAREFUL" because freedom of expression is fundamental in this business. They are statements to which we answer "I HOPE YOU DON'T HAVE THE BAD LUCK OF GIVING WITH A CUSTOMER OF THESE CHARACTERISTICS".
